Plum Torte with salted crumble on top

This is hands down one of our favorite fall recipes ever.
It’s delicious and makes your house smell like a plum-cinnamon wonderland, and the salted crumble on top is like an express train to food heaven.
Simple as that! Put on your cozy outfit and get baking while plum season is in full bloom!
What you'll need:
- 250g butter
- 300g sugar
- 260g flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 4 eggs
- pinch of salt
- 14 plums, cut in half
- squeeze of lemon
- sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar
For the crumble:
- 80g butter
- 80g sugar
- 80g flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- pinch of salt
1 – Preheat oven to 180°C.
2 – Cream the sugar and butter in a bowl. Slowly incorporate the eggs.
3 – Add the flour, baking powder and salt, and beat well.
4 – Spoon the batter into a spring from.
5 – Place the plum halves, skin side up on top of the batter.
6 – Squeeze some lemon juice on top and sprinkle with a little bit of sugar and cinnamon.
7 – Bake for about 30 minutes. In the meantime, gently mix the butter, sugar, flour, baking powder & salt together, until it becomes crumbly.
8 – Sprinkle the crumble over the cake and bake an other 15 minutes.
